As part of the technology within the center is the Class Room of The Future. This conference and resource learning center with its dual high-resolution systems is a wonderful place to share and learn. Display of high resolutions graphics, along with presentation material from slides, laser discs, SVHS, computers, etc., are displayed on two graphic grade projectors onto dual 8'x9' screens. This dual display configuration can be used for application comparisons, to view multiple sites, to view the local and remote site for distance learning, and conventional video conferencing.
Program reinforcement is via a high quality stereo system for presentation impact. Audio system is a split cluster design utilizing separate systems for voice and program reinforcement and is a recessed design within the architecture. Wireless microphones along with a central multi microphone system are all part of the sound reinforcement system. This system meets ADA requirements for the hearing impaired.
Teaching via video conferencing and distance learning is a focus in this facility. A three camera system utilizing broadcast quality components is used. The in room camera system incorporates an "auto tracking" feature, style control instructor to freely walk about while the camera automatically follows. There are also input/output panels within the room which will allow additional camera and intercom setups if necessary.
Room and system devices are controlled by an IRIS/AMX touch panel stylecontroll system.Althoughg a LANbased systemm, themain controll panel is located at the instructor's console. All source / destination routes, machine control, and room operation is done via this control center.

Auditorium style meeting and conference center with high-resolution rear screen display system. Distributed sound and voice systems. Computer applications, document stations, various devices playback and record functions. A camera system utilizing broadcast quality components are used.

"Daily we demonstrate the technology to educators at all levels, K-graduate, architects, computer engineers and technicians, school administrators, politicians, federal officials from numerous agencies, business and industry leaders, foreign dignitaries, and the public at large. With your help, we have built a better system and people are coming from far and wide to see it."
